The past 3 weeks I put myself on a pretty strict diet with no cheat meals as I was preparing for my very first photo shoot! It was so much fun, and totally got me out of my comfort zone which is something I needed. To prepare I was eating chicken and rice or chicken Greek salads for lunches, and either a chicken breast or lean ground beef and ground turkey mixed together with rice. I was also going to the gym 2 times a day 5 days a week, 7 am for 30 mins of cardio then I would go back at 5pm to lift weights and another 30 mins of cardio. I finally started to lose some of those extra pounds that I could never get rid of. Even though I am not preparing for another photo shoot right now, I am still going to stick to this diet and workout routine to see where it goes! As for how my shoot went, WOW! I am sooooo exited to see the shots we got and share them with all of you too! I brought some fitness magazines to get some ideas for poses since I had never done one of these before. The photographer I had was Wanda Harron (Wanda Harron Photography) and she was great! She instantly made me feel comfortable in front of the camera. Since this was my first photo shoot I didn’t know what to expect, I now have a way better idea of what to bring. I can’t wait to do another one!!
