Today I am going to talk about what’s all inside my gym bag! It’s so full I cannot even zipper it shut, but I refuse to take anything out. First and foremost, gym clothes. Some people are lucky enough to be able to go to the gym from home, but working a 8-5 job it is easier for me to go straight to the gym because let’s be honest here, if I “stop” at home to get gym clothes I’ll make up some sort of excuse to stay at home. Now if you can stop at home then great! Do whatever works best for you. I have an outrageous amount of gym clothes inside my gym bag, but I don’t know what I’m going to wear for that gym session until I get into the change room. Next thing you’ll find in my gym bag is my Sweet Sweat, Sweat Band and a towel. If you’ve never tried one of these sweat bands I 100% recommend them! They are also known as a waist trainer but they aren’t those tight ones that look like they break your ribs. I wear it during my cardio and the amount of sweat you have dripping from this thing is insane! Sure it’s probably 99% water weight but it still gives you that ‘oh ya!’ feeling that you nailed that cardio session.
You will then find 2 containers of BCAA’s (Branched Chain Amino Acids), one with caffeine and the other without depending on how tired I am is how I decide which BCAA I will take that session. Of course to go along with the BCAA’s you will find a shaker bottle. I also have a set of resistant bands in there, most gyms now have a set for people to use but I have bought my own and love them! That’s what you’ll find jammed into my gym bag, along with the essential deodorant, lotion, extra hair ties, a brush, lip balm, and face wipes of course. One thing I want to add to my gym bag is a weight lifting belt as they help with back pain while giving you proper back position and form for when you’re lifting heavy weight, which is something I love to do!
