Kaylyn Kyle

Kaylyn made her debut in the Canadian Youth Soccer Program in 2003 at the age of 14. She was coached by Bryan Rosenfeld. In 2006 she won a silver medal at The CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship in Mexico and Represented Canada at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Russia 2006. At only 19 years old, she made her debut for Canada (January 2008) and finished first with Canada at the 2008 Cyprus Women’s Cup.

Kaylyn then went on to win a gold medal with Canada at the 2008 CONCACAF Women’s Under-20 Championship in Puebla (where Canada qualified for Chile 2008) and represented Canada at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup – Chile 2008. In 2009 Kaylyn finished second with Canada at the 2009 Cyprus Women’s Cup and went on to win a gold medal with Canada at the 2010 CONCACAF championship, qualifying for The FIFA Women’s World Cup in Germany 2011. She finished first with Canada at the 2011 Cyprus Women’s Cup and represented Canada at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Germany 2011. Kaylyn captured a gold medal with Canada at the XVI Pan American Games in Guadalajara 2011.

In 2012 she won a silver medal with Canada at the 2012 CONCACAF Women’s Olympic Qualifying tournament in Vancouver. Finishing second with Canada at the 2012 Cyprus Women’s Cup, she was the 26th women’s footballer to make her 50th appearance for Canada (24 March 2012). Kaylyn and team Canada won an Olympic Bronze Medal at the London 2012 Women’s Olympic Football Tournament. She played in a career-high 35 consecutive Canada matches during 2011-12 (through the 9th of August 2012)
